Race Sensitivity Reads

Get your script read by an African-American to ensure your characters and actions are racially sensitive, appropriate, and accurate. While reads are primarily for determining sensitivity for black characters, notes may include sensitivities from additional marginalized groups, such as other minority, LGBTQ, or disabled characters.

Upon purchase, you will receive a Google Form link to submit your script along with script-related questions for your specific goals

You’ll receive a PDF document with suggested changes and adjustments. This includes:

• Notes with a Primary Sensitivity Concern, a scoring system to determine if readers may bump on the script, and Detailed Page Notes
• Email Access to ask sensitive follow-up questions on the notes (No Zoom)

Turnaround: Typically 7-10 business days.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I encourage questions on the notes, but make sure your questions are also racially sensitive. Any offensive statements or racially charged pushback will result in an immediate end of correspondence.
