What kind of classes are being taught?
There are different services available for purchases, including Script Consultations. The specific courses available are:

• GamePlan helps you strategize long-term decisions to progress among differing writing stages (idea, first script, first break, support staff, paid writer).
• Support Staff Deep Dive gives you an incredibly detailed rundown of how to be a great support staffer and get promoted from your work.
• Build-A-Writer is a script analysis course dedicated to improving you, the writer.

Is Build-A-Writer gonna look at my script?
No, the course is closer to a script analysis of professional scripts, teaching you how to find, identity, and even question multiple elements and beats. By the end of the course, you'll be able to take these tools to your own scripts to help you on your rewrite.

From Instructor Joseph Mwamba: When I paid for courses before, I always felt these courses were more focused on giving you a product at the end, such as an outline or first draft. They were more interested in improving the product (e.g. script) more so than improving you the writer! That's what Build-A-Writer focuses on: getting you to recognize beats and questions while also forcing you into the habit of reading more professional scripts - which is how you become a better writer.

Can someone look at my script?
We offer Script Consulting for hour-long and half-hour U.S. formatted scripts. Only returning students receive discounts for consulting.

What level can someone request a script consultation?
You should submit a script if you are serious about the writing profession and you've given out a script for notes multiple times (it doesn't have to be that specific script, just you personally).

What age is recommended to take a course?
Each course breaks down the proper stage a writer should be at to take these classes. While we do not exclude anyone interested, courses are not best suited for first-time or high school screenwriters. At least nor yet.

How long are classes?
Typically 2 hours, but 1.5 hours at minimum.

Can I donate a class?
Yes, you may use Gift Cards to donate the value of class. You may send the course to the email you want to receive as a gift. If you'd like to donate for anyone, use info@telemazing.com as the recipient, and we'll do a giveaway of your gift. You'll get credit on socials and in our newsletter.

What payments do you accept?
As of now, we accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay & Shop Pay. 

Can people outside the United States take a course?
As of now, we are not accepting purchases outside the US & Canada.

What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds unless the instructor must cancel an entire multi-week course, where purchasers would receive a pro-rated amount based off the percentage of classes not completed. There are no reruns for a cancelled class, as it will be re-scheduled. Cancelled one-day courses will be re-scheduled as well, and thus you may not receive a refund.
